COSMETOLOGY CAREER POSSIBILITIES Skin Care Esthetics Course #2 - 1,500 Hours The Esthetics program is a complete basic course in the scientific method of skin care. This course teaches the student to analyze and treat various skin problems through the use of massages, machines, and products. The student will be familiar with make-up techniques, hair removal techniques and the business practices of a skin care operation. The student will learn about aromatherapy, body wraps, body treatments and reflexology. The student will also learn microdermabrasion and cellulite treatments. Students who complete this course will be able to perform any standard esthetics service required in the beauty salon or spa. The knowledge and skills will prepare the student for work as an esthetician, salon or spa manager, salon or spa owner or product demonstrator. This course can be completed in approximately ten and 1/2 months with perfect attendance.
