CIDESCO Preparatory Classes and Exams
Independence College of Cosmetology offers a preparatory class for Estheticians who would like to obtain the CIDESCO diploma. Please note CIDESCO requires that only estheticians that have been licensed for at least three years as well as having worked as an esthetician for at least three years may take the CIDESCO Post Graduate Examination after undergoing additional training of a minimum of 5 business days at a registered CIDESCO School.

Independence College of Cosmetology will hold CIDESCO preparatory classes on the following dates:
• April 2 - 6, 2012
• July 9 - 13, 2012
• October 15 - 19, 2012
The preparatory class will be taught from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. A mock exam will be held on Friday and a model can be provided if you need one. The cost is $1,200.00 for the class plus $660.00 for the CIDESCO exam, totaling $1,860.00. Please call ASAP to enroll for the next class. The preparatory class is payable with a $600.00 deposit 2 weeks prior to class and the $600.00 balance on the Monday of class. The CIDESCO exam is payable 3 months in advance. We host an exam in the spring and the fall.
The airport closest to Independence College of Cosmetology is Kansas City International (airport code MCI). It is approximately 45 minutes from the College.
