CIDESCO Preparatory Classes and Exams

Independence College of Cosmetology offers a preparatory class for Estheticians who would like to earn the CIDESCO diploma but did not obtain their initial education at a qualified CIDESCO training center.  CIDESCO requires that Estheticians in this situation must have been licensed and working as an Esthetician for at least three years.  After that time they are required to participate in a 5 day Preparatory Class at an approved CIDESCO training center.  Then they qualify to return and take the CIDESCO exam.

 Independence College of Cosmetology has scheduled CIDESCO preparatory classes for the following dates:

* May 6 - 10, 2013

* August 12 - 16, 2013

* November 18 - 22, 2013

The preparatory class is taught from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  A mock exam is held on Friday.  A model can be provided if requested.   The cost is $1,200.00.  The prep class is payable with a $600.00 deposit 2 weeks prior to class and the $600.00 balance on the Monday of class. 

The CIDESCO exam is $660.00, payable 3 months in advance. We host an exam in the spring and the fall.
